My Journey to Natural Wellness Practice
My deep interest in natural living led me on a journey of learning integrative wellness practices.
Practices like Lifestyle Medicine, Homeopathy, Health Coaching, Ayurveda and Yoga.
I trained as Certified Integrative Health Coach from Duke Health and Well-Being. As a Health Coach, I help people make healthy lifestyle choices to create long-term wellness and to prevent and manage chronic conditions.
Subsequently, I also received the NBC-HWC credential as a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. This certification is regarded as the highest global benchmark of professional health coach training.
I successfully received Lifestyle Medicine Coach certification from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine(ACLM). I also trained in remission of Type2 Diabetes and reversal of insulin resistance with Lifestyle Medicine with ACLM.
I trained in integrative Clinical Homeopathy with CEDH USA in the areas of Sleep and Stress Management; Pain Management; Women’s Health ; ENT; Digestive & Circulatory Disorders. I successfully graduated with a diploma in Clinical Homeopathy.
In 2006, I trained in Yoga from the Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation in Bangalore, India, and later from Mount Madonna Institute in Watsonville, California and in Rishikesh Gurukul. Receiving Yoga Teacher Training E-RYT 500 hr certification of Yoga Alliance.
I have also learned about Ayurveda through various certifications with renowned teachers. I am also a certified Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant.
I was born and raised in India. I earned an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the Delhi College of Engineering in 1995. Later I received an MBA in the United States from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than twenty years with my family and have two adorable kids. I love hiking and growing plants in my free time.
